Why are you always tired? Generally, there are several reasons for which you could feel tired sometimes but keep in mind that being tired all the time is not normal. Before seeing a GP, you might start to think for some reasons for which you feel all the time tired but if you can’t figure them out, GPs will probably look at the following factors: psychological factors, physical factors and lifestyle causes.
How often should you sleep? It is recommended by the NHS that we sleep 6-9 hours every night.
Sleep is not only important to maintain a healthy daily schedule to make our days more productive, but sufficient sleep also helps reduce stress which is beneficial for our mental health. It is important that we find out how much sleep we need and aim to achieve that amount in order to reduce fatigue. (National Health Service, 2018)
