Importance of eating fruit and vegetables
It is common knowledge that we should eat five different fruit and vegetables every day, but how often do we follow this rule?
Why are fruits and vegetables so good for us?
They contain fibre, minerals and vitamins that are all great for our bodies and decrease our risk of developing non-communicable diseases such as cancer. Fruits and vegetables have such a positive effect on our bodies, and all we need is a minimum of 5 a day to live a healthy life. So instead of having a sandwich for lunch, try having a fruit salad or a salad instead.
